Same found plywood as its 24-inch sibling: five or six sheets glued into a block and carved as one. This one is unambiguous about its purpose. It is a dough bowl. The topography is the whole show, the lamination lines flowing like elevation contours on a map, and the best trick it plays is in the hand: it looks striated, almost ridged, but it is astonishingly smooth to the touch. The eye reads texture; the fingers find glass. Bring bread dough, or just bring your hands.
