Every piece that has gone. For years I made these and kept no record — one photograph each is all that survives, and that is the honest version. Move the light across them.
0 pieces, 2022 to today. Newer work carries its whole story: the tree, the film, the rings.
Every piece is one of one, but the bench keeps working. Commissions here tend to start one of two ways.
Someone loses a tree that mattered — the one in the yard they grew up climbing, the one that came down in a storm — and they want to keep part of it in a form they will actually use. Or a designer has a space that needs one specific object: an alcove, a hall table, a shelf where nothing bought off a shelf will do.
If either of those sounds like you, tell me about it. If you have the wood, I will work with it. If you do not, I will find the right tree.
