Part of the geometry series: deliberately thick walls, an unusual idea of what a bowl is allowed to be, and, my favourite detail, the stub of a branch left proudly sticking out of the side. Most of my pieces work to be loved at first sight. This one does not chase anyone. I have noticed it resonates with only a very few people, and when it does, it resonates completely. Maybe this one finds you. Maybe it does not. Either way it starts conversations like nothing else I have made, because there is no other bowl in the world that looks like this.
The old listing said Tuxedo, and the old listing was wrong: this came from the same curbside rescue on St. Anne's Road, the stack of silver maple logs left out for the garbage trucks. Pulled from the pile, saved from the landfill, and carved into the strangest bowl of the batch.

One of one. When it is gone, it is gone. Ships worldwide, fully insured, from the Winnipeg workshop. Every piece carries its tree’s record: where it stood, its rings, and the carving on film. Leave your details and Sean replies personally, usually the same day.
