Prairie trees, like prairie people, are antifragile.
They bend through storms, grow despite damage,
stand strong through bitter cold, and still reach for light.
When they finally fall, the grain remembers.
Each ring, a record of resilience.
I am called to shape these memories
to celebrate the scars and imperfections.
Each piece one of one, perfectly imperfect,
just like you.
